October Newsletter – Jambassador Annual Arrival!

Howdy, Jam Fans!!
Happy Fall…

We would like to thank you for your patience as we grow and change. Many exciting things have happened since we last chatted.
So let’s get started! 

We have hired someone to do the thing you request of me ALL the time:
Marigold Sues will be creating and writing up recipes! Yes! Now you really can look like a gourmet chef and we’ll do all the work!  She is using our products to create easy to use, step by step instructions on how to create things like Apple Mandarin Chutney Cheese Bites – I think that’s what she called them.
Watch for our next newsletter……..
There will be pictures and everything! I’m so excited!
Now…onto the things available for you to Enjoy, Gift, Cook and use to Impress your friends and family…

It is the awesome time of year when we have “Harvest Overlap/Leftovers”. This means we have Pear, Berry and Mandarin product lines available.
*But not for long!!!!

BERRIES are going out of season and we are using what we have left to produce our “Jambasador Packs” (more later on this). Hence, the full size jars of Black & Straw, Strawberry Citrus Basil, Strawberry Mojito and Strawberry Rosemary in inventory are all we have until the 2019 harvest season.
*If you want these, snag ’em now!!!!

We also still have limited amounts of Pear products (Ginger Pear, Pear Chutney, Vanilla Pear, Pear Fruit Spread).

You have spoken and the winner of
most popular pear product is…

(drum roll please)…

Caramel Spice Pear Fruit Spread! 
It is, after all, “Thanksgiving-on-a-Spoon”. So this is the one pear product we will attempt to produce as much as possible before we can no longer get pears. (Consider it our attempt to keep the Caramel Spice Pear available as far into your holiday season as we can).
The remaining pear products will not be replenished as we move into Mandarin/Apple Season.
You can find them again in July 2019.

We are in mandarin acquisition mode, having stalked the grower. I was able to get some early harvest Mandarins to get started on your Fall Faves! These should hit the website and our booths, starting Nov 10th in Valley Springs.

Remember: We love playing Santa and helping you get through this season with as much ease as possible. We drop ship, AND we gift wrap!  Give us another week to get the rest of the “Jambassadors” packed in their respective boxes and get the website updated so you can shop and ship!

We have been picked up by a new winery! Lavender Ridge, in Murphy’s. 
and by Cheese Central in Lodi!
This means we are now available in 8 Northern CA stores and wineries!

We are also proud to announce that we are now served at Rest Hotel, in Plymouth, as well as being newly featured in the wonderful food creations of Farmland Street
(A local Food Truck that serves Crepes and Pies!)
…Speaking of pie…their recent order of Caramel Spiced Pear Fruit Spread will be featured in their Caramel Spiced Pear Cranberry Pie – and boy are our mouths WATERING!

We are always happy to hear about your favorite winery that enjoys/focuses on food pairings. You can let us know here! Now that we have a polished, professional brochure (and help), I can get out and stalk them properly.

What’s in Season? PEARS!

Pears are still in season. We are stocking up for your holiday meals and gift giving. The Caramel Spice Pear Fruit Spread is “Thanksgiving-on-a-Spoon”. It “pears” nicely with cheeses and would make your host/hostess tail-waggin happy to receive as a gift.

We are already busy making our 2oz “Jambassador” gift packs for your holiday shopping ease and pleasure. If you are shopping for friends and/or family far away, we drop ship AND gift wrap! Or, you can have it all shipped to you so that you can put your own favorite wrap on it before you send it.

What’s coming up?

Apples and Mandarins are next! Can’t wait for the Apple Mandarin Chutneythat went so well with your turkey last year? Satsuma Mandarins start harvesting in our local Loomis/Newcastle area in October (usually). This means you will have your holiday meal planning done in plenty of time. We make you look like the gourmet chef we all know you are, and we do all the work (shhhhhhhh, we won’t tell).

April Newsletter – New Flavor

Strawberry Citrus Basil is Here!

A lot goes into deciding to create a new flavor. We consider what our customers are asking for, what other products are very popular in our line, the extra expense of designing and printing labels, production of the new product, etc. Knowing the popularity of our strawberry products, and that the JAMbassador 4-pack for strawberry needed a fourth product to be complete, we just launched…Strawberry Citrus Basil Fruit Spread!

This delightful combination includes strawberry (of course), mandarins, grapefruit, and basil. The citrus gives it a little kick, basil adds a smoothness for a well balanced flavor ride. We think you’ll really enjoy it. Early taste tests with Mr. Harper, who seems to have a sixth sense for amazing jam combos, are quite favorable. He says “it rocks!”

We’ve Come a Long Way, Baby!

With not only Strawberry Citrus Basil to put into jars, but many of the favorites we start creating this time of year (Strawberry Mojito, Strawberry Rosemary, and soon the Apricot products), we had to get a LOT more jars! Gone are the days of running to Walmart to get a few cases of jars. We are now bringing them in on palettes! Here’s a recent photo. Thank you for creating the demand to make this possible.
Which brings us to the events listed below. Strawberry Citrus Basil will DEBUT at the Crafty Chicks Road Show this Saturday, April 21st. Please come say “Hi!” and stop by for a taste and let us know what you think. We will have Strawberry Citrus Basil  along with many of your other favorites, at the other events listed below.

Happy Spring! We are jumping into Berry season!

Yes, this means Mojito! Rosemary and Citrus Basil Strawberry flavors! We don’t yet have blackberries so be patient.

We do however have some of your favorite Mandarin items in stock. PineGerine, Apple Mandarin Chutney and Mandarin Apple Butter! Get them before they are gone.
